Ingredients

  • 4 ripe mangos, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup water

Directions

  1. Prepare and freeze the mango
    • Cut the mangos into ½-inch cubes and spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely frozen.
  2. Blend
    • Add the frozen mango, honey, and water to a food processor. Process until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Freeze to set
    • Transfer the sorbet mixture to a freezer-safe container and smooth the top. Freeze for 1 additional hour to firm up.
  4. Serve
    • Scoop and serve immediately, or let sit at room temperature for a few minutes if frozen solid.

Notes

  • For easier blending, allow the frozen mango to sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes before processing.
  • This sorbet is best enjoyed the same day but can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 week.
